Followers have attempted to describe the project “IYE!” in various ways. Comparisons, such as a bizarre blend of director Béla Tarr and hip-hop or a collision between Jonas Mekas and contemporary performance art, only hint at the dynamic collaboration between artists Paulius Janušonis and Vytautas Franukevičius. Known for their distinctive and sometimes controversial performances, “IYE!” brings a unique aesthetic and philosophy.
During the “Music Autumn” festival, their work “Half Life” delves even deeper into experimental forms, inviting audiences to reconsider concepts of true reality.
