The LENsemble (Lithuanian Ensemble Network) presents an engaging program meticulously crafted in collaboration with Thomas Hummel, a German composer and creative collaborator at “Experimentalstudio des SWR,” one of Europe’s premier electronic music studios.
Today, the world is crossing the threshold of the widespread adoption and dominance of artificial intelligence. This concert program invites listeners to explore the intersection of live and virtual existence and the dialogue between the human and synthetic realms.
During the concert, the audience will be immersed in a transitional space where unexpected phenomena emerge. Live and virtual ensembles will perform simultaneously, as synthetic sounds transform into living ones, objects become instruments, and artificial intelligence improvises alongside the performers. This experience challenges boundaries and invites us to re-evaluate our relationship with each of these realms.

The Lithuanian Ensemble Network, or LENsemble, is one of the most distinctive and consistent organizations in Lithuania that maintains its artistic direction within the context of contemporary music. Bringing together composers and performers of contemporary academic music, LENsemble collaborates with key partners from Lithuania and abroad to continue its mission of promoting the creation and performance of new music. The organization emphasizes creativity, bold experimentation, and works continuously with young musicians, organizing innovative contemporary academic music projects that showcase both Lithuanian and international creators. Through these initiatives, LENsemble shapes an original line of contemporary music performance in Lithuania.
